Lebenslauf
Von 2002 bis 2017 war Sybille Somogyi als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Robert Koch-Institut (RKI) in Berlin vor allem mit der Koordinierung von Forschungsprojekten sowie mit der Organisation eines Mikrobiologischen Labors (HIV-Studienlabor) betraut. Ein Teil ihrer Position am RKI war zudem der Tätigkeit als Wissenschaftliche Koordinatorin für das EPIET/EUPHEM Fellowship Programm des European Center of Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) übertragen. Somit konnte sie Kenntnisse im Bereich Public-Health-Mikrobiologie mit wissenschaftlichem Management verknüpfen. Ihre Kommunikationskompetenzen vertiefte sie in einem einjährigen Ausbildungsprogramm bei „artop – Institut an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin“, das sie 2016 mit einem Zertifikat als Trainerin für Kommunikation und Verhalten abschloss.
Am Institut für angewandte Biowissenschaften (IAB) des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie (KIT) war Sybille Somogyi von 2017 bis 2020 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Lehre sowie für die Studiengangsentwicklung tätig und zeitgleich an der Entwicklung des Projektes helpBW „Fach- und hochschulartenübergreifendes E-Learning-Portfolio Baden-Württemberg für Informations- und Schreibkompetenzen“ beteiligt. Das umfangreiche Angebot des Hochschul-Didaktik-Zentrums (HDZ) nutzte sie für ihre pädagogische Weiterentwicklung. Der Wechsel ins SARS-CoV-2 Pandemiemanagement im Jahr 2020 ermöglichte ihr neue Erfahrungen zu den internen Abläufen der Gesundheitsämter und zu den Herausforderungen einer Krisensituation im Öffentlichen Gesundheitswesen.
Seit März 2022 arbeitet Frau Somogyi als Referentin für Hygiene und Infektionsschutz an der Akademie für Öffentliches Gesundheitswesen in Düsseldorf. Im Weiterbildungskurs zum:zur Facharzt:ärztin für Öffentliches Gesundheitswesen leitet sie anteilig das „Modul IV – Gesundheitsschutz“ und führt Fortbildungen verschiedener Formate durch. Aufgrund ihrer wissenschaftlichen Expertise ist Frau Somogyi in Forschungsprojekte involviert und leitet die Fortbildungsreihe „Wissenschaft trifft Praxis“ mit ergänzenden Podcasts.
