Academy of
Public Health Services

The Academy of Public Health Services in Düsseldorf is a public educational institution financed by 14 out of the 16 federal states of Germany. It was founded in 1971 as the only nationwide interstate institution for apprenticeships, trainings and further education of all public health sector employees. We are conduction advanced training for medical specialists in public health, inspectors for food  and hygiene and employees for social medical  explorations, among others. In addition, we offer short trainings that address special issues of public health service.
